Doodle Learning Launches ‘Winter Calendar’ Festive Countdown
Discovery Education’s Doodle Learning is excited to announce the return of The Winter Calendar – a popular challenge which encourages children to practise maths and English as they countdown to Christmas.
Using the award-winning DoodleMaths and DoodleEnglish apps, children can earn fun virtual rewards by opening the Winter Calendar each day in December, and completing an exercise. Designed to encourage a few minutes of daily Doodling, the Winter Calendar is a great way to keep children motivated and engaged with learning over the holidays.
Part of the Discovery Education family of solutions, the Doodle apps use the latest edtech advances to reward learning and boost children’s confidence. Designed by teachers and fully curriculum aligned, the apps are filled with interactive exercises that help children to have fun with learning and build skills for the classroom and beyond.
Between the 1st December and 24th December, children can unlock the doors on their DoodleMaths and/or DoodleEnglish Calendar by completing at least one exercise a day and collecting stars. Children who open all of the doors on one or both calendars will receive an extra special reward to celebrate their hard work — a virtual Winter Calendar badge!
To get started, Doodle subscribers simply need to log in to DoodleMaths or DoodleEnglish on the 1st December and complete an exercise. The last day for unlocking doors is the 6th January 2024.
